I relocated to Zürich due to my fiancee's job. This curtailed my own successful career as an historian in the UK. Due to my academic background I write professionally and research and script podcasts. This naturally flowed from some television appearances I have made as an expert on British culture. To supplement my other work I wish to reengage in my passion for history and English literature. I am, as you would expect, an avid reader; I also enjoy opera and classic music, as well as travel, rugby, cricket and skiing.
