Last year I started a PhD program in Economics at the graduate school in Bonn, Germany. Now proceeding to a career in the private sector. MA in Quantitative Economics and Finance, University of St.Gallen, Switzerland Bachelor in Economic Theories, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic I worked in junior positions in Risk Management for Swiss Re in Zurich and statistical department of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, and in student internships in applied research at a think tank in Vienna and at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
Experience
Explaining studying materials to my fellow students has been the most efficient way how I learned the content of courses - and it was always a great fun! Using this experience and knowledge I hope to help you improving in basic and intermediate mathematics, statistics and econometrics. Last year I started a PhD program in Economics at the graduate school in Bonn, Germany. Now I am proceeding to a career in the private sector. Prior to that, my graduate was at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, and Bachelor studies at the Charles University in Prague. My Master thesis combined elements of theory and econometrics, after months of hard work it was awarded the best possible grade. Explaining seemingly complicated algorithms in simple words was almost my weekly task when working in the statistics department of the European Central Bank and in the risk management of Swiss Re, a reinsurance company in Zurich. Letztes Jahr hatte ich mein Promotionsstudium in Volkswirtschaft an der Bonn Graduate School of Economics begonnen. Jetzt bin ich auf dem Weg meine Karriere im privaten Sektor weiterzuentwickeln. Davor hatte ich meinen Master an der HSG in St.Gallen, Schweiz, und meinen Bachelor an der Karlsuniversität in Prag abgeschlossen. Meine Masterarbeit hat Elemente aus Theorie und Ökonometrie kombiniert und nach einigen Monaten harter Arbeit wurde sie mit der besten Note belohnt. Scheinbar komplizierte Algorithmen in einfacher Sprache zu erklären war eine regelmäßige Tätigkeit von mir als ich in der statistischen Abteilung der Europäischer Zentralbank und im Risiko Management bei Swiss Re in Zürich gearbeitet hatte. Während meines Bachelor war ich ein stolzer Mentor von einer internationalen Studentin.
